Do we use cookies?
No. This site does not use cookies, and visit statistics are collected without cookies too (see below). That is why we show no cookie banner.
The only exception is the contact page: the Cloudflare Turnstile check that protects the form from automated software may store technical data in your browser under Cloudflare's own policy. It runs only on the contact page.
Visit statistics (Umami)
To improve the site and spot problems early we use Umami, a cookie-free open-source analytics tool. It runs on i.ilef.net, a server owned by the Faculty of Communication; the data is not shared with any company and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
What is recorded: the page visited, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country. Your IP address is not stored; to count a visit once, a regularly rotating one-way hash of the IP and browser details is used, which does not identify you.
The following events are also counted. Only the song, podcast or site name is sent with them, never anything about you:
Liking a song | Seeing which songs listeners love, to shape the playlist |
Starting / finishing a podcast | Seeing which episodes are listened to and whether they are heard to the end |
Live stream error | Noticing listeners who cannot connect and fixing technical problems quickly |
Playing the embedded player | Seeing which sites use our player (only that site's name) |
Contact form sent | Checking that the form works (the form contents are not sent) |
Stored in your browser (localStorage)
The following small preferences are kept only in your own browser and are never sent to our server:
ri-theme | Your dark / light theme preference |
ri-volume | Your volume preference |
ri-fs | Your text size preference on the home page |
ri-liked-songs | The list of songs you liked |
ri-liked | Identifiers of songs you liked |
How to delete or block
Clear the "site data" for this site in your browser settings to remove all of these entries.
If you prefer not to be counted in the statistics, your browser's tracking protection or any ad/tracker blocker is enough; the site keeps working fully.
