Sound Never Disappears, It Transforms
Radio was a miracle in 1906. Carrying sound through the air—invisible, intangible, yet everywhere. Since then, technology has changed, frequencies have changed, and the ways we listen have changed. But the essence of radio has never changed: a voice, a listener, and that indescribable bond between them.

We have been forging this connection since 1982. Over the decades, every song played on 91.0 has left its mark: Nilüfer’s rendition, Pink Floyd’s transition, and countless artists whose names you may not know but whose music you recognise the moment you hear it. These traces have formed an archive, perhaps one of Ankara’s most unique musical memories.
With our new website, we’re making this archive visible for the first time. When a song plays, you’ll recognise the artist. Like it, let us know if you spot anything missing, and we’ll add it. This archive isn’t the work of a single editor, but of everyone who has listened to it with us. In our podcasts, voices from Ankara University speak; in our blog posts, thoughts on music, culture and communication accumulate. Videos will be here soon...
The broadcast on 91.0 hasn’t changed; we haven’t touched it. But the scope of the sound has expanded. The same frequency, a wider reach.
