Data Controller

The data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) is Radyo İLEF, operating within the Faculty of Communication, Ankara University. Address: Ankara University Faculty of Communication, Cebeci Campus, Ankara, Turkey.

Personal Data Collected

The following personal data may be collected when you use our site:

• Contact form: Full name, email address, subject, and message content.
• Visit statistics: Anonymous visitor data collected via Google Analytics 4 (page views, country, device type). These are collected using anonymous identifiers and do not directly identify individuals.
• Stream diagnostics: When reporting a stream issue, browser information, operating system, screen resolution, connection type, and IP address are collected. The IP address is deleted after the issue is resolved.
• Liked songs: Your liked songs list is stored only on your device (localStorage) and is not sent to our servers.

Purpose of Processing

• Responding to contact inquiries
• Anonymously measuring and improving site usage statistics
• Identifying stream listening issues and providing technical support
• Fulfilling legal obligations

Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed under KVKK Art.5/2-c (performance of a contract), Art.5/2-e (establishment, exercise, or protection of a right), and Art.5/2-f (legitimate interest). Explicit consent is obtained for analytics cookies.

Data Retention Periods

• Contact form data: Retained for 1 year after the inquiry is answered.
• Google Analytics data: 14 months (Google's default retention period).
• Diagnostic reports: Deleted within 30 days after the issue is resolved.
• IP addresses: Stored only in diagnostic reports and deleted after the related issue is resolved. IP addresses are not recorded in other data.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics 4: Used for anonymous visit statistics. Not activated if cookie consent is declined. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Cloudflare Turnstile: Used for bot protection on the contact form. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• MusicBrainz / Last.fm: Used for artist biographies and album artwork. This data is not associated with individual users.

Your Rights

Under KVKK Art.11, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data has been processed
• To request information if it has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose
• To request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
• To request deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art.7
• To object to a result arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems
